“Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks up the Hudson”
(New York City, New York, USA)
I have caught a couple Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks shows and they were all majestic! This original oil painting is housed in a black floating frame. The scene is from the New York Harbor and includes:
- Several Manhattan skyscrapers in the distance located on the islands southwest corner
- The timeless Empire State Building further up in Midtown on the left lit up in red, white, and blue
- The new One WTC on the right also lit up in red, white, and blue
- Red, white, and blue fireworks with their reflections on the waves of the Harbor
- A few firework rockets screaming skyward before exploding
- A few stars in the night sky
- Last but not least Lady Liberty! The Statue of Liberty lit up with her torch shining bright
