A commission of one of my favorite cities (and home for 5 years) …Atlanta!
One (if not ‘the’ oldest) gallery) in Atlanta, Lagerquist Gallery coordinated this large downtown ATL cityscape for a client based on their northern viewpoint. The scene is a dynamic mix of Atlanta’s modern skyline emerging from the still abundant woods surrounding the city at on a stormy evening split between a setting sun and a full moon (attempt to do Van Gogh proud).
It includes (seven major skyscrapers from left to right): 191 Peachtree Tower, the SunTrust Plaza, Bank of America Plaza, 1180 Peachtree, GLG Grand/Four Seasons Hotel, Promenade II, and finally One Atlantic Center.
