"The Palmetto City" - Charleston is known for its character, rich history and beauty. I had been told several times that this city was a great place to take a girlfriend. Comically enough, the first time I visited was for a bachelor party….and it IS a great town! We had a blast and the people were super friendly.

The view is looking west down Broad St. from the steps of the Daughters of the Confederacy building. It includes: Charleston’s trademark transportational usage of Rickshaws and Horse n buggys (hence the painting name), one of the city’s many steeples (St. Michael’s Episcopal Church), several historic buildings, gaslamps, tourists, and of course palmetto trees.
