My first painting!

This view captures a portion of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile at night focusing on the (now) diminutive, yet very unique, Allerton Hotel with the John Hancock Center in the background (viewed from the upper floor of a hotel further down Michigan Avenue).

The Allerton was the location of my sister’s wedding and therefore the painting was a gift to the new couple as a reminder of that evening.
