I love visiting the Big Apple because of its energy and character.

This view is from the intersection of Houston (that's pronounced 'house-ton' for any Texan who hasn't been to the area ;) and Broadway; and is looking north up Broadway. The area borders East Village, SOHO, and Little Italy.

Features include: several story buildings, the top of the Citicorp building (lower left of Chrysler), the chaotic traffic being directed by NYC's finest. The iconic Chrysler Building and the beautiful Grace Church in the center.
